- Have your student set out small items (cereal, beads, pennies) and use them to make arrays (equal groups in rows and columns) and then write the corresponding multiplication equations for the array.
- Encourage your student to practice multiplication facts for twos, threes, fours, fives, and tens until they are fluent with these facts.
- Ask your student to skip count by two, three, four, five, or ten to help with multiplication fact mastery.
